    Hey
I'm going to the states in two weeks and just wondering what is the best way to go about getting a good exchange rate for the euro.

Standard bank, airport bank, currency exchange place or just use ATM's once I get over there.

    Thanks

atm will have a fee of c 4.5% per trans- check ur bank www

if u get a cc the per trans fee is 1.75% on all conversions: u could preload the cc acount with cash but then mind it v well:D

    airport bank crap rate
    std bank normal rate

ccy ex rate crap rate and possibly dodgy ccy, especially 100 bills

dont bring back any 100s as the banks make u lodge them to ur acc first and if dodgy tough titty

? did u look over in banking and finance here or on AAM.ie
