    hi all

i have a cqb dboys and picked up a couple of the large 9.6v 2000mah cqb batteries the large batteries do fit in the dboys cqb stock but they are a tight fit,

does anyone know of a cqb stock that is slightly larger than the dboys one? i have seen a couple on ebaybanned.com but they dont look like they would be big enough,

does anyone know of a suitable one?

    thanks

    John

I have the same stock on a VFC 416 and got the same battery I think - I find they are tight but fit nice and snug however the stock wont adjust but that's cause I got the 3 piece battery instead of the 2 piece nunchuck style battery. I might do a bit of resoldering...;)

Not sure about other stock sizes I'm afraid. :(Sry.

yeah i have to use a little oil on the battery/stock (3 piece too) when removing it,so i dont yank out the cables, i have to extend the stock about one/two notches too but luckily i find that most comfortable,

still it would be nice to get a bigger stock with a bit more room

had the same prob myself, same gun, stock and battery.
what i did was get some twine, dont use string unless its very strong, and tied a big not at the end and 2 others a battery lenght up along the string so it looked like this ____________*_____*_____**

then as tight as you can, tape the twine alongside the battery, get the 1st knot at the very bottom of the battery, the 2nd and 3rd knots(where applicable) sort of fit them into the small grrove where the batteries join in the stack, if you get me.

do this with all 3 sticks of battery, and tie the strings into one tidy solid knot.

then spray a small bit of silicone inside the stock to get them in,

collapes the stock, put the batteries in and connect them, then slowly slide the stock to the fully extended position, and this action will put everything into place for you.

the stock wont go back to is collapsed position when youre using it to shoot but when you want to to take the batteries out again, just collapse it and it pops the batteries out for you nice and handy.

ist a tight fit alrigh and can be done, the oppertunity cost of loss of compactness is more than adequately componsated for by the ROF and long battery life, mine is chrono'd at between 900 and 1100 rpm, ony the mac is faster.

no bother, it looks a bit rough but its more practical than charging the battery in the gun.
