    +1

Any drip-feed of new footage I see just gets me more excited about this, I've never anticipated a movie as much before (Well, except for Rambo......you gotta love Rambo). It looks so different and epic-ish to the 1st one (Which I wasn't really fond of in the 1st place)

THIS is gonna be the money maker for the summer as well as take the rare "sequel that's better than the 1st" trophy.

I'm almost worried at how excited about The Dark Knight I am. I mean, it cant be as good as they're making it look... can it?!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,739 ✭✭✭Jello

They look great, don't think I've ever been so excited about a film either.

    Bout 6 weeks now!

It's about 2 years since I heard Heath Ledger say he was using "A Clockwork Orange" as his inspiration. What a perfect film to base the Joker's character around and from the clips he's nailed the look.

I loved the first Batman but I never liked how they tried to explain why The Joker wears make up. Heath makes him look like a proper psycho.

    I'm so feckin excited

Anyone know when the IMAX in Belfast is re-opening? (i.e. will there be an IMAX showing of The Dark Knight there)
or is Dundrum showing any sort of 3D feature of it or anything?

The music at the end of these trailers is outstanding, the level of hype thats going to follow this movie is dangerous.I think im gna have to see it once just to get the hype out of my system and the 3 more times to enjoy it fully :)

That looks like a pretty shoddy photoshop job,I'd say the below piece of concept art is the real deal..based on various accounts and the fact that warner bros had websites take down the pic as soon as it first popped up.

"That's right, people don't really know yet," Eckhart says. "I can tell you that, basically, when you look at Two-Face, you should get sick to your stomach. Being the guy under all that, well, that was a lot of fun for me. It's like you would feel if you met someone whose face had pretty much been ripped off or burned off with acid."

I think that picture may be closer to the real thing than any of the other pics. It'll still be different, I'm sure, but I'm not going to spoil it for myself and I really hope Warner Bros. can keep the lid on his look like how the Cloverfield monster wasn't revealed UNTIL the movie was released.

BAH!! 1 month & 2 days to go, I need a time machine!

Such a good teaser, leaves you screaming for more, the viral marketing is genius!!

Also, looks more...moist than the above shot

That just blew the left side of my face off. The scare looks alot more wet and fresh in that teaser.

You'd easily forget Two-Face is in this, what with all the focus and attention plonked on The Joker.

Still nobody could touch Tommy Lee Jones heart-warming take on him

    1 month, 1 day...................nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnaaaarrgh, can't wait!!

this has got to be the most hype surrounding a movie ever! good god it cant come quick enough, i think im gonna freeze myself in the snow untill release date when someone will thaw me out and we will go to the cinema! :D

is it just me or did you always have an interest in the batman films? to be honest i would have watched the previous ones but wouldnt go crazy over them.

because they are being re-made so well would be the reason why im just dying to see the new one. Batman begins was a whole new take on the character altogether.i loved it

Ever since I was I kid I loved Batman and Batman Returns (Saw that one in the cinema). Didn't care for the following two...............Batman & Robin's only interesting thing is Arnie and his woeful one-liners: "ICE TO SEE YOU!!

I actually didn't warm to Batman Begins, while it wasn't bad and it was a step in the right direction I just found it a very sterile movie coated with this diahoerrea-brown hue.

Dark Knight has a completely different feel to Begins. The tone & colour is much darker and the cinematography gives a whole "EPIC!!" feel to it. Afterall, Nolan was obsessed about using IMAX cameras as much as possible for this movie but Warner Bros. allowed him to just film a few scenes with the technology.

It wasn't until I saw the 1st trailer and saw & heard Ledger doing The Joker myself that I was hooked on how it would play out. Blew me away and the more I see of The Joker the more I piss my pants in anticpation (Could be something else I should see a doctor over but.....meh!)

i have always loved batman movies, whichever of them!!however these new batman movies seems like bringing me back to the good old classy dark theme batman ,Tim burton's 1&2 - which is great!!batman begins was enjoyable enough - based on the book by frank miller,it cant go wrong!

the story,i say make the story better and darker!

that could end badly for you ever see south park.:D but seriously this is probably going to be heath ledgers finest hour its just a pity he won't be around for it.
is killian murphy back as scare crow again i read some place that he was seen coming off the set of the film one day
