Writers have the worst procrastination?

Does anyone else agree? I think there's good reason for it too. Writing is one thing that you can't predict a path for. So naturally, we want to procrastinate while we do it. It's not like building something where you know step by step what to do, writing is in my opinion the most challenging art out there.

I do agree unfortunately. I started writing my book 4 years ago and have had moments where I've written a lot and then months of nothing. But I am attempting to write the bulk of it this summer.
It's definitely not something that can be forced but I do think I personally need more discipline when it comes to writing or painting or sculpting regularly.

I'm in the rather lengthy, tedious process of planning my novel out in quite a bit of detail. I think if I have some sort of template, I'll find it easier to push through the writer's block/low ego stages. That's the plan anyhow. I'm just one step away from storyboards :)
