Your favourite 24 moments **SPOILERS**

Right, so i'm going through my yearly repeats of 24, and i figured i'd see what other peoples favourite moments are in 24. Dont bother with spoilers, as its in the thread title. Here are some of my facourite moments, and im sure that more will come to mind later. (i'm on night shift, and i have to do something to pass the time.)

Season 1
Jack telling Ted Cofell about the wet towel down the stomach torture method :eek:
Tony standing up for Jack when Mason wanted him to say he had made bad decisions that night.
Jack and Palmers first meeting.
Jack taking out Drazen and his gang in season.

Season 2
Killing the federally protected mob guy and bringing his head to get back in the gang.
His "farewell" speech to David Palmer after Nina was about to kill him.
Kims nipple shots.
Masons speach to Jack in the plane.
Kims nipple shots

Season 3
Jack being pretty messed up all through it.
Jack chopping Chase's hand off.
I didnt actually see all of season 3, so i've got no more.

Season 4
Jack getting Heller and Audrey out of the terrorist compound.
Tony coming to Jacks rescue.
Chloe/Edgar...both annoying at first, then i liked them.
His last convo with Palmer.

Season 5
The entire bloody series.
Stopping the 'interrogation' of Audrey.
Jack :"He's using you. He wanted you to get inside my head. And it worked. And now I'm… upset."
The massive explosions with Jack carrying Bierko over his shoulder.

Season 6
I'll let you know once i watch it.

(as I clean up the mess from drooling at the last post).....my fave 24 moment was (cant remember what season, 2 or 3??) when Jack had to shoot CTU boss Ryan Chappelle in the head, i was sure he would find a way out of it....he is Jack Bauer after all....but when he actually pulled the trigger, well i just about fell outta me chair.....unbelievably riveting stuff

Yeah,I remember he said: "God forgive me" just before he did it.
I bet if you polled every single 24 fan in the world and asked what was the best 24 moment that would win hands down.
It's become acclaimed even more because there's been no scene in the seasons since then that have come anywhere near to matching it for dramatic effect.

Def agree, this was 24 at it's best. Even the i knew what was happening, i still couldnt believe what had just happened. I still thought that there had to be some sort of twist, brilliant viewing,

One of the best things about 24 (and in some ways the worst) is that it isnt afraid to kill of some of it's best characters.

Are we all forgetting finding out about Nina's betrayal in the first one, and when he found Terri dead. That whole final episode of season 1. I sat open-mouthed, shocked for about 10 minutes after seeing it. Fantastic!!

my personal favourites are

Jack beheading that guy at the start of season 2. Was hardcore man....you knew jack was BACK when he did that....and then shaved:D

Mason going down with the plane with the nuke. Probly the most emotional point of all seasons for me. It was heart wrenching and epic. You could tell from earlier when he was exposed to the radiation that it was coming, but still one of the best tv deaths ever in my eyes.

Jack pulling the trigger on Nina. I figured that she wouldnt survive season 3, but in typical hollywood fashion i thought he would end up "killing" her by not saving her. i.e leave her trapped in an exploding building in a cliche'd way. The fact that he shot her was satisfying....as it seemed REAL.

Palmer biting the bullet. Literally.

Edgar getting gassed. Minor character maybe, but the fact that he just walked into the room...said Chloe's name and dropped was chilling. It came out of nowhere. Very cold. The silent count gave it more gravitas aswell.

The nuke going off last season was quite surprising too. Not shocking as theyve done it before, but I didnt think it WOULD go off this time.

But Best overall moment...and the most shocking was definately when he shot Chappelle in seaosn 3. My jaw dropped. Probably why I enjoy season 3 so much when some fans dont like it much. I also liked that Jack was willing to expose Saunders daughter to the virus to get the info and I believe that it was well linked to him forcing jack to pull the trigger.

Probably more I'm missing.

Edit: i did. Michelle getting blown up. I really liked Michelle and totally didn't see it coming so early on in the season.
