I have a windows XP media centre edition pc in an upstairs room connected with broadband cable to socket in wall. I then have an Xbox 360 connected the same way in a downstairs room. Both devices are connected directly back to router and have full working internet access. The pc’s media centre is supposed to be able to stream down to the Xbox using media connect or something like that. However no matter what I try they wont see each other. I have tried disabling the windows firewall, but nothing, the windows firewall actually has the media centre and media connect listed in the exception tab anyway. Any ideas would be much appreciated, as I use this every day, or at least I used to! It just stopped working one day. Wold there be any setting on the pc I could have messed with??
