Hi BMW, sinead here, i do a little collecting of beer mats not much but from what ive seen any recent ones wont reach much money at all but if you have older ones say 70's , 60's etc then you could sell a bulk lot together and get between 20, 30 euro . Hope this helps some, best place to look is www.ebay.ie hun and check out how the pricing goes there.

Are they beermats with the names of different pubs, clubs and hotels on one side and the brewery name on the other or just different brewery beermats ?

I think there is a few with names of pubs on them and i have some with dates on them like round ireland yacht race would have to take them out and have a look at them again

No -beermats are virtually worthless - old does not equal valuable contrary to what 'Flog it' and other TV programmes would have you believe. :)
