    Howdi folks,
The top bar of keys on my Macbook are disabled for some reason. Not sure how it happened or how to resolve it. The keys in question are 'esc' 'less bright' 'more bright' 'mute' 'sound down' 'sound up' 'etc'. The only key that's working is Numlock. I must have accidently hit a combo of keys to turn on the 'F' keys. I thought 'fn' may have been the culprit but press that key has no effect. (and now for some reason I can't get into keyboard and mice in Sys Prfs, erm...)

Did anybody feck with your settings in System Preferences lately? It's the main point of call for setting issues that need to be sorted.

    nope, nobody touched my MB.
Funny thing is that the keys are working now. Odd.
Maybe some application crashed which in turn caused a problem with the keyboard or something..

Yeah I had that before, must be a fuzzy-logic thing from the 90's or something ?! Rights itself after a reboot.
