did a quick search there but could'nt find anything.

I am going to Ibiza on the 4th of July. I have a valid passport, but its far from mint condition. The corners have dog ears and the front cover where the gold writing is has faded. Its a 10 year passport and expires in 2010.

Just wondering will i have and problems checking in, or did anyone experience a problem with and old and bashed passport.

    Thanks in advance

Mine is in a similar state and also expires in 2010 (too many trips away). No more gold writing on the front, dog ears, and a few stains on the inside.

Once your photo page is in good condition and doesn't look like it's been altered and is full legible, the machine readable strip is fine and you've no pages missing you will be fine.

If in doubt contact whoever you are flying with.

too many nights out also haha.

There is no pages missing and i might try and iron out some of the dog ears.

The last page where the picture is the corners are coming up a bit, i might just leave it or glue it back (will do good job)

I wouldn't bother trying to fix the photo page, that is really the only one that they should be interested in and they have no reason to look at any of the other pages for giving you stamps or anything within the EU, but if you end up making it look like it's been deliberately messed with in anyway then they may question it. I'm sure there see plenty of very dogeared passports going around though without any problem so just leave it as it is or get a new one.
