Yup, pretty much every AEG uses the same type/size of spring, the only exception that I am aware of is the PSG-1 gearbox. Bolt actions also use different types of springs.

    great, thanks,

also, is it hard to change a spring on an average aeg say jg g36c or dboys m4, jus as an example.

you'll need to remove the gearbox and then strip it down, its not reccomended unless you are handy with this sort of thing and have the right kinda head, that said its not rocket science but at times it could be a bit confusing. the G36 would be the easier one to change the spring on in my opinion but a lot of people would put it the other way around with the M4 being easier.,

would you reccomed a spring guide for just a standard M90 or 100?
    im getting conflicting opinions

when you sy spring guide, do you mean a bearing one? your gearbox will already have a spring guide in it but fitting a bearing one will take up an extra 7-10mm aprox from where the spring would usually sit, that will push the FPS up a bit and will increase the ROF, with an MS90 and especially an MS100 the increase would most likely make the gun go over the limit.

    one of these,

    http://www.rsov.com/product/0/1725/p_Element-ball-bearing-spring-guide-for-M14-IN-0505.html

i thought they were a necessary upgrade, i havnt cracked a ver 7 yet so i wasnt sure whats inside her.

that would hardly put her over with a M90 would it.

just to go OT for a sec im planning on the above with appropriate spring, guarder clear bucking, an Element H Nub and Element chamber set for my CYMA M14, would you reccomend anything else, bar either a PDI or Dees Custom 6.01...eventually.

airsoft and the dole are a tough combination :-(

what make spring would you advise, iv read that PDI last for ever what ever way they are wound.

thats exactly the spring guide i mean, it will give you a boost of a few FPS,

ive seen 90 springs come in a fair bit over the limit on their own without a bearing spring guide so id imagine it would a close one, worst comes to worst you could always snip a small bit off the end of the spring and flatten it though.,

    youre a little star:D
id rather go with an M80 rather than risk the structural intregity of the spring.
    sound for that.
