Tombstoning

    Anyone knoe anygood sites around Ireland to go Tombstoning ideally around the North East. Though I heared something on the radio a while back about a outdoor adventure center running course in it.

    In case anyone dosent know what tombstoning is. Heres a video of it all going wrong, and why its called tombstoning.

    you'd wanna be some seriously sort of 'tarded to get into it. Sure it looks like fun, and done right could be savage, BUT....I've been scubadiving and snorkelling for years under cliffs all over the Irish coast, in particular parts of Donegal, Mayo and Galway, There are very few places where this is going to be a good idea, Most of them, anything goes wrong and you are brown bread...so no ideas for you....Higgins....

    wouldn't go as far as AngryHippie there, but you do need to be completely familiar with the area you're jumping (above and below the waterline). yes, it's risky, but great craic if you know what you're at! :)

    i don't know that part of the coast at all well, there's some great spots for jumping in clare though...

    Yeah, It was a bit over the top....how high do you need , and what depth...I know a few pretty good ones, even a road up to them for the ambulance/hearse, but who am I to judge.:o
