Finding out last time windows was started up

    Hi
My laptop was very severely liquid damaged over the long weekend, at the minute trying to determine which of bad scenarios happened 1-somebody else was in the flat 2-my flat mates delibrately destroyed my laptop (damage does not look in anyway accidental, lid was still closed no nearby spillage etc)
I have removed the hard drive (which appears to be dry), basically I was wondering what programs or files I would use to detect the last time that windows was opened (this would be when the hard drive is attached to another PC with something like this )
have been using winspy to take a look at the index.dat files on other pc (haven't got the hang of it yet)
still need to check the router logs though (just remembered about them)
ISP (NTL) weren't any help when I rang to ask about internet usage over the weekend. If any one can think of other things like these it would also be appreciated.

Check the event log viewer which should tell the last times system was powered down/up?

if all else fails do a search for files in the last week , date stamps may give a clue

If it is not booting then attach it to a pc / laptop via a USB caddy and go to
documents and settings\ your profile name\ cookies and look at the date stamp and site names on the cookies.

If someone else was using it they might have been dumb enough to check their email or favourite sites.
