Stanstead express tickets on Ryanair flights

    You used to be able to buy these tickets on the flights but my parents flew over recently and they were told it was discontinued so they'd to pay full price at Stanstead. There is nothing on Ryanair's website only a link to Stanstead express where 2 adult rtn are £39. I think when they sold them onboard it was cheaper than that. Anyone know if they're still for sale?

    Flew there last week..

    I was getting a lift but there were three irish girls in front of me who were asking about them and were disgusted to hear that they werent available...didnt hear the entire conversation so not sure if he meant not available there and then or not at all, however after what your folks said it seems more likely thats its been discontinued..

    Thanks for that. Typical - it was a great money saver. Anyone else know for sure before I go and book them online?

    I was over there for the May Bank Holiday weekend, they were still selling them then and didn't hear any mention of them being discontinued... I had already bought mine online through ryanair though. The price to buy them on the flight was £20 return each so booking online would be saving you a whole £1!!!!!:o

    The discount is still available by using the ryanair section of the SE website, £10 single and £19.50 return.
