Beckinsale approves Beckham romance

    Kate Beckinsale has said that she would be happy for her daughter to date Brooklyn Beckham.

    The actress admitted she was worried about Lily, 9, spending time with boys, but claimed that David and Victoria Beckham's eldest son would meet her standards.

    She told The Mirror: "I am dreading the day Lily brings home a boy.

    "But she and the Beckham boys get on really well. So if she did have to have a boyfriend, then I suppose Brooklyn would get my seal of approval!"

    It was reported in February that Brooklyn, nine, had a crush on Spice Girl Emma Bunton.

    They are a bit young aren't they
