San Diego would be the sport then you get the beach life along with the city life all in one location. Stunning place and great people.

ya weve been to both santa ponsa and hersonisis, both unreal..hersonisis doesnt really have any clubs but all the pubs have dance floors..stayed at the dream apartments, theyre pretty nice!

santa ponsa is pretty class to cuz u can go to magaluf for a few nights its only about 5 mins away by taxi.some good clubs there like BCM!

both are class,id prob prefer hersonisis though!

    enjoy!

Ive just come back from my second holiday in Turkey (Gumbet to be exact) and I couldnt praise it enough. It was a girlie hol, and I brought two friends who came back swearing to go back before the summer is out. One was big into history, and tours, so she did that, went to Ephesus and all that. On the other days we stayed round the pool, wnet shopping in the market, did the Turkish Bath (great craic, esp on a girlie hol), went to Bodrum, and went on a boat trip for a day..there is plenty to do and the people are so nice.

Nightlife is great craic too, and confined to one long street called Bar Street, but on the main street there is just resteraunts and shops..

There is everything there, for the party animal, those wanting a quiet break, and those inbetween..I highly recommend it. PM if you want more info, Im more than happy to help as IM on Budget Travel looking at going back!!

I stayed in the Poseidon in gumbet, for the second time. around the pool there was a mix of couples, two girlie hol groups, bunch of lads from cork, and a few families with teens..the staff were amazing and we ended up going out with them for a few nights. the places they recommended were great and we had a fun night on bar street! regards food and drink the supply is endless, altho the best in town in planet yucca..main dish cost between 15-25lira which is about 11euro ish..a bottle of miller was 2.50 but try the cheaper local beer, and they serve cocktails everywhere for about 4euro or so..weather will be fab in sept too,as it was very hot last week about 45degrees but with a nice breeze!

Sea Pearl Hotel, absolutely spotless, great pool, very helpful and honest staff. We were there last year and going back there again this year. Irish owned all Irish visitors. 5 min walk from beach. Highly recommended

Well i have been to hersonnissos and Santa Ponsa in the last 12 months and while i thought Hersonnissos was deadly crack, Sasnta Ponsa in my opinion was even better. September is meant to be a slightly older crowd too so i would choose Santa Ponsa, deadly crack.
