Happened to me too a few times. I dont know if its normal, but the couple of times its happened, I still received the packages in good time.

    Very odd!

Usually when a tracking number is created the Carrier will have at least 2 reference numbers. If your tracking number is for eg, TIP-876254 then the Carrier should have something like, 141US-TIP-876254. If they find the tracking number, they can trace back the create date of the consignment.

It is possible the wrong tracking number was put on the wrong parcel. Get on to RSOV and get their details then get onto TNT and check the track again http://www.tnt.com/country/en_ie.html

Or get onto their customer support and explain to them whats going on.

The same thing is happening to me. I think its normal, I know my package is on the way because TNT phoned to tell my it was held by customs and thats what the on line tracker has it listed as as well

    Hi Guys

Re-using tracking numbers is completely normal and most of the companies seem to do it.
It is annoying for the recipient, but I personally have never had a problem.
    Your items will arrive!
