Guys I see that Airsofteire has red gas. So whats the deal, I have some all metal GBB's(kjw p226, M1911, ksc G19, meister g17) can all these metal babys take red?

Or is it a case of they have to be fully upgraded as in valves, innards and so on. Just curious has anyone used it, and whats the story, my KJW P226 has a major heavy slide as we all know, will red run it with out blowing the slide clean off!?

I'm not sure you'd need it, even if you did do the necessary upgrades to use it. It'd put most GBB's over the limit here in the summer time, not sure it's power output in the colder months though. I probably wouldn't risk using it for anything other than gas grenades though.

Ill let you know in a few days when I get the bottle I just ordered :)

I'm not sure if this stuff is actually any more powerful than winter green gas, but I'll do some comparisons to find out, i'd definitely only use it in a gbb with a metal slide/body and such though, depending on fps, it may also only be suitable for use in winter.

I'll post some red/green/134a gas comparisons as soon as I get a chance, i think you'll find that the red gas is pretty much the same as green gas.

It's a bit more powerful. I use it with a Metal Bodied TM P226, with a few spring upgrades etc. and it fires very nicely ;)
