I will be there for sure. However some Old Punks can be snotty about what it was to be a Punk in the 70's. Hey I was never a Punk, only 29
Do you think they will go down a storm?
Or have they shunned the real name of Punk for money?
    what ya all thinks????????????????

never mind the bollox is probably one of the greatest punk albums of all time

pistols are past it, i don't blame them for making money, i wouldn't go see them but then thats probably because of all the other crap that is on at electric picnic and all the annoying people there i would have to endure just to see them,

followers of all the others that they created a genre for made massive money off of their leadership. i hope they make millions out of gobsh!tes

and anyway, who ever said you couldn't be punk and not make money, thats some sort of crass diy crap that was more about a movement than it was about punk itself, go live a tree, bunch of dopes

However some Old Punks can be snotty about what it was to be a Punk in the 70's.

I saw the Pistols in Glasgow a couple of months back, went on my own and meet loads of old punks who had seen Pistols back in '76/77. They were anything but snotty. It was a great gig, the band were tight as ****... And who gives a **** what anybody thinks anyway, I love the Pistols, I love festivals and I'm going to have an excellent ****ing time. I hope you do to friend!:D

Think johnny lydon is on the cover of Mojo magazine??one of them pc music mags for volvo driving middle-agers anyway....

no very punk rock...no matter how many sneers he tries to make on tv...

I'll be avoiding this tripe like the plague!!Good album for its time, they flogged the hell out of it though.

    Crass were better.

crass were better penny, of course they were, if you were in to all that movement stuff. never really got into meself, but then i was never really into the pistols either.

mate of mine just saw the pistols in the states and he said lydon was taking the piss out of the yanks like shouting "c'mon everybody, say "allah, allah"" and when they did make an effort at a pit he started slagging fu'ck out of them for being able to dance. i hope he makes a fortune out of all the dopes, thats punk taking the mickey

Don't get me wrong, I love the Pistols (especially this original incarnation without that Vicious twat), but methinks this is totally hypocritical. Rotten rambles on in his book how he wanted to start a band to replace all of the old dinosaur rockers in the 70s. Is he not totally contradicting that by doing this new tour?
