Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 II EX DG APO

    I would like to get myself a good lense for sport photography idealy the Nikon 70-200 would be the one i but it costs alot has anybody used the sigma 70-200 or know much about it cost wise it is alot cheaper.

    There was a very similar thread about this a week days ago. I was in the same boat recently and opted for Sigma 70-200 from URgalaxy on Ebay for €600 delivered. I haven't been disappointed.

    I have one too and I think it is an excellent lens. Highly recommended.

    I had one also and it was an excellent lens, didnt stand up to much abuse though.

    The more I use this lens, the more I like it, which is a good sign.

    Some holiday photos are updated at my Flickr site, easily found by searching "Rosewoodoil Flickr".

    In fact, I'm using a Sigma 70-300 apo macro... Half asleep...sorry...
