    my wii wont read discs anymore and makes ridiculously loud noises when trying to read the discs before spitting it out.

    can anyone advise if it is ****ed compeltely or can i do anything?

    I need the mainboard off a wii drive and it sounds like your having laser/drive mechanics problems. I'd be willing to buy the mainboard off you

    by any chance have you had it sitting on a carpet floor?? it could just be a case of dust and bits of hair and crap like that getting in and seizing up the drive, if thats the case it would be handy to repair.

    nah, its on a wood floor.
    found plenty of evidence online that its a broken cog that holds the game in place.
    bringing it in to those console repair guys during the week
