I've been getting nuisance call lately and I know the number they are coming from. If I contact 02 is there any chance they will tell me who it is?

    No chance.

Try ringing into the voicemail. If the number is 08x xxxxxxx then dial 08x 5 xxxxxxx. If they have personalised their voicemail then you will get their name.

Alternatively ring them. Put #31# before the number when dialing from your phone and they won't see your number on their screen. They may answer "hello, John speaking".

Or you could ask your network to change your number - not always ideal I know.

Otherwise keep a note of all calls, pop down your Garda station and file a report. Then prepare to sit back and wait.
