its possible you'll receive negative feedback or trolling.. "hackers.ie" isn't the best choice of domain names tbh.

i would like to see a site setup for irish computer security, without any commercial involvement, but..don't think this is it.

It's a shared hosting server, it's not my security.
    Pretty sure it's secure though!!

And a simple nslookup of hackers.ie will give you that IP Address.

I choose hackers.ie for traffic. Every new user is limited to a few forums until they show they are not skiddies. Those with a bit of tech knowledge are given access to the Tech Zone where they can post and answer questions.

This site is not in the slightest bit commercial and it's aimed at people who are interested in all aspects of computers with an emphasis on security.

It's not gonnna be a place for the latest warez and leet haxor tools, not the type of users I'm trying to attract.

I want intelligent users who are interesting in learning and helping, nothing more.

I'm a member of quiet a few tech forums and simply want to provide a central place of Irish users.

If you are interested please check it out, if not - no hassles.

For reference, I'm no skiddie, 29yo IT Manager with a BSc in Computer Science and a few other things under my belt.

    Hopefully see you around soon.

I hope this post didn't offend anyone, just trying to explain my stance.

Eh... I think you've kind of missed the point.
Unless this is supposed to be a honeypot?

I wouldn't be positive but I can only assume that this page should not be viewable to anyone over the web, only internal users who are on the server should be allowed to view it, with external users who need to change setting logging in through SSH or something along those lines.
Having this page viewable over the web leaves the website open to be hacked

    Could be wrong?

This site is on a shared hosting server so depending on the logon you use, you get access to different site details.

I can assure you I don't use this means of access as it is too open for sniffing. I either use SSL of HTTPS depending on the requirement.
