    Not the first time it's been done, Ernesto Colagno made 2 gold bikes to celebrate the visit of the Pope to Mexico (I think it was Mexico anyway). One of them found it's way onto ebay recently - asking price $250,000

    The Colnagos were probably pretty fancy, even without the gold. This on the other hand is a pretty basic Charge Plug. Seems bizarre to me.
