Mac User needs Advice on PC Laptop

    Hi all,i'm a Mac user but need to pick up a PC Laptop,the software i'm going to run recommends the following system requirements,Pentium IV,1024 memory,it needs to have a DirectX9 compatible 3D card with 256mb of memory,not shared memory,(GeForce FX or equivalent),and be DirectSound compatible.I really don't know anything about these specs and would be very grateful for any advice,thanks in advance
