7ton of anyones money is good if you get the extended 3 year warranty boys.
ill be looking in to this .
just would want to know how deep the model is . as they take up a lot of room from wall to the front of the tv set.
    thanks op..........

Could be reduced price like a Scratch & Dent sale? They do it all the time in Harvey Normans..

Rear projection Tv's are hard enough to ship. i would get one, but wouldnt know where to put a 50" lcd/plasma nevermind a rear projection one. If i was a pimp I would know where to put it.

Has anyone seen this TV? Is it available in other Sony stores? Seems to me an excellent deal.

Been browsing the sony range on sony.ie and can see no 50" tv's- its only either 46" or else 52"

700 seems ridiculously cheap for this size of TV.... they should be double that!

Ok, not a lot of detail but it looks like it may have been a bargain. Would have been worth a phone call if you were in the market for a big RPTV.

Could've been someone from boards who ended up buying it, cheers for the alert - next time make sure they have enough TV's for everyone in the audience though :D j/k
