Touchscreen for under 200?

What is the best phone with touchscreen under E200? I have heard stories about the HiPhones not being able to use the net over here. But all I want one for is the MP3 player, making calls, sending texts, and it having a touchscreen! I'm not keen on the Samsung Soul, and defintitly not wanting to spend the money for a iPhone. (I hate iTunes for a start, plus the talk plans are crud!)

    Any ideas? TIA

I cant guarantee anything with these phones as I dont know anyone who bought one, but it doesnt look too bad at all.
Its a knock off HTC TyTN I think. Has windows Mobile 6 on it, but I do wonder about the inbuild memory (ram). It says 128Mb (good) the pictured "about" screen shows just under 50Mb of ram. That would be a concern....
Other then that it seems to tick all your boxes

    They do more phones here:

but again, have a good look at them first.

This one has a review on it and all, sounds promising:

    A knock off N95:

With all these you will probably find something wrong or inconvienient, but hey, their dirt cheap for what they say they do.

You can pick up a lightly used HTC TyTn on eBay for less than 200 if you don't mind not having a brand new phone.

I'm using an LG Viewty (KU990) since november and it's an awsome phone, better than the iphone in my book, hsdpa with 5mp camera....

You can pick one up from 3 with a contract fr €199 or you should be able to source one from ebay around your budget...

Highly recommend it....savage phone....makes iphone users scratch their heads......had a chap try and swap me for an iphone last week, told him to keep it:D

lg launched one recently the KC550 - it's available to order on expansys.ie for about €245 (on their uk site, it's £179 - about 229 after exchange rate conversion)

Dollars, euros, pounds, whatever. It doesnt make a difference, its digital money, it not like Dealexteme are going to say,
"no no, you only have euros in your bank account, we need dollars!"
Ive used them a number of times, never for phones or anything over $50 though, but id be confident there should be no hassle.

There in dollars because the company deals in dollars!
Use www.xe.com/ucc to convert to euros.

Sorry am I being thick here? If I buy something from dealextreme is the price they show the price I pay in euros? Or is it like eBay where someone is selling something in $s and when I pay with paypal it converts it to Euros?

It will be converted to Euro. So $200 is about €135

Thought as much! Just had a blonde moment! Do any of these phones have GPS function?

Not as far as I can see. You can always get a Bluetooth GPS reciever. It picks up the satelites, and connects to your phone via bluetooth. Ive tomtom on my mobile and it has the option to connect to an external bluetooth GPS device. Theyre on ebay for reasonable prices.
