This Weary Hour is a doom metal band from Cork, Ireland, formed in April 2007 by Eamonn O’Neill (vox) and Seán Murphy (guitar). They began writing as a two-piece, and a demo was finally recorded in late 2007. It was released in January 2008 under the title, The Shadow of Time.

Bryan Wall joined as second guitarist soon after the demo release and, more recently, Ben Kelleher signed-up on bass.

The band is currently looking for a drummer.
