ok so this is a two fold thread...

Firstly top 5 xbox live games to play what are they?

Secondly which ones get most play online, they could be different to the top 5.

I was trying to have a game of prey for example online yesterday and there was nobody playing it which is unfortunate imo as its a pretty decent game. I think it'd fun online. Just threw Halo in again instead then.

    CoD4 is big.
    Not too sure about GTA4
    Halo 3 as you said.
    PGR4 or 3 I always get a game.
Rainbow 6 Vegas1/2 or the GRAW games.
Gear of War is always on the go.

Prey kind of fell on its arse when it came out. Online was very laggy at the time and I don't think it ever recovered as gamers just left it.

thats a shame about Prey cause its pretty good. It sums up xbox live for me really its all well and good a game being xbox live compatible etc but sure if noones online playin it its basically useless so you have to go for popular games more so than ones your really into.

I was just thinking of a good example of the whole xbox live is all well and good once you only play games that are popular.
The new Quake didnt score well in a few sites so the likelyhood is that not that many will be online playing it. I absolutely loved quake as a young lad so even if it didnt score great I would love to play it online. Does quake 4 get played online at all cause you can pick that up fairly cheap?

Im sure I've seen new copies of Quake going for €30 and preowned for maybe 15/20.

I cant guarentee a good online experience but im 99.99% you would get plenty of good games.

    MY TOP 5 GAMES
    COD4
    GTA4
    FIFA 08
    RAINBOW 6(FIRST ONE)
    GRAW

TOP 5 ONLINE GAMES FOR ME:
    COD4
    FIFA 08
    GTA 4
    TIGER WOODS 08
    RAINBOW 6 FIRST ONE

I know most games are online compatable, but its very rare that a game focus's on both aspects. Call Of Duty 4, has a great offline game but it is very short.
so they have kept that game going with a cracking online game mode that has ruined other games for me because it just can't be beaten at this moment

And thats different to any online game experience how?
