We'll be meeting up around 8pm onwards in the Cineworld Cafe Bar (1st floor), going to see the movie together, then find somewhere afterwards to discuss :)

Seen it, its an epic masterpiece that is transformed by the presence of NPH (Neil Patrick Harris).

I've heard mixed reviews, and only vaguely remember the first one - So I'm hoping it's good :)

Class movie - saw it tonight, I'd say 60 seconds was the biggest period in between laughs. Far better then I imagined, and I'm a huge fan of the first one.

    Just back...

It was a lot funnier than I thought, and better than I remember the first one being.

For what it is, it had some pretty funny moments

Very glad I went along... Was a pretty entertaining movie. I would put it as easy comedy. That is, you don't have to think to get the laughs! Not that it was simple mind you. References were thick and fast and I could hardly think of an American stereotype that wasn't hit in some way or another... Shock of shock and horror!!! I'll never look at Dubbya Bush in the same way EVER AGAIN! lolz
Hadn't seen the first so I had little if any expectation. But I will be on the lookout to watch the first one having seen the second.
Very friendly gang and looking forward to going along again!

Some of the best laughs were probably the background voices

Yep. It was way more enjoyable than I thought it would be.

I'd come straight from work to the cinema so I wasn't really in the mood for anything with a lot of depth to it.

And good work zAbbo on getting this whole movie club off the ground.

"North Korea and Al Queida working together", the FBI guy was one of the best comic characters in ages.

    Especially when he
jumped out of the plane at the end, shooting at them without a parachute

Thanks to the boardsies who came along, their sidestreet pub knowledge was appreciated :)

I'm in the process of putting a site together which will help having a central point for updates and info on meet ups

I actually thought that was one of the weakest bits!
