    Just missed this shot by a second

    has anyone else here had any near misses ? if so feel free to post
    A shot you just missed by a second or so but you think would have been great if you succeeded

    There ya go - you followed the thread on 'breaking the rules' and shifted the subject off center and look what happened to you - ruination :)

    Newsflash: Okay, I found one:

    These two lads were having a spectacular midair scrap nano seconds before I managed to turn my camera the right side up. By then, as you can see, there were only dirty grey clouds between them, and they were mere dots in the photo. I was that close to making it in to National Geographic.

    really wanted the point of impact though... where it looks like the ball has punctured...

    i don't know if i can put this up or not so i wont embed it,

    this was a near miss cos i had a prime, not a zoom when i took this and had to jump back to avoid getting covered in this. guess what it is??

    :'( that actually made me feel sick. I don't think i could go on with photography after that, I'd be so scarred!
