Need a photographer for a start up business to take a few simple shots to be then used in flyers. The shoot would involve taking photos of people in a group that are been given a presentation.

Not looking for wedding stlye and getting charged mega bucks

    Any ideas?

    Hi

Ive started a couple of businesses myself and one thing you need is to keep costs down. No doubt you or someone you know owns a decent digital camera?

Well, take this camera, and practice. Take plenty of images in a well lit room. See them on computer and decide which works best.

Our print design co. does alot of "photo-fixing" for clients where they bring us a poor image and we can make it look decent for print. Take this to your printer and see what they can do. (or give me a shout:D)

Other option is, if its not too important who the people in the images are, use a stock photography reseller. You pay a fee of between 5 - 20euro (depends on the size of the photos needed) and thats it, its yours to use for all your promotional material.

I'll recommend www.reggiesmit.com. I've used Reggie on a number of sites I've done and the work is great and the prices are very reasonable.

    Worth giving a shout to.

    Rgds,

    Dave

Cheers for that i think the stock photo is the way to go as i can just get what we need rather than doing a shoot

I definitely concur that the stockphoto option is best at this time for your business. You know exactly what you are getting and at what price.
