    Killarney, The Cranary

Double Header The Coronas and Philtre. June Bank Holiday.

This gig captured everything the June Bank holiday represents.

A time of relaxation, to kick back and live on the buzz of summer sun.

First up was local band from Tralee Philtre. They took to the stage with empahsis and began to bang out the tunes, with songs such as 'Paper Thin', 'Bullet' a theme tune for the Magners league on Setanta sports.

These boys seemed to be something extra special and were on fire and took the crowd to that special place.

These guys need to be seen to be believed.

I think they've Myspace, I sure hope so.

The Coronas had nice following of young girls to sing along to there hits.

Guys, hit me back with any other accounts of special gigs that ye saw over weekend.

Tribute band is either very stupid comment or harsh comment.

From when I saw them in Killarney they play and write there own original material.

And besides the front man is no heart throb.
