Exporting a vehicle

    Hello,

Just wondering how one goes about exporting a vehicle to the north from the republic?

From what I understand it's quite easy to import it in the north, however I don't know what needs to be done regarding the authorities in the republic.

I know when exporting from the North or the UK you send off part of the log book which notifies the relevant authority that you are exporting the vehicle. Is there something similar you do in the republic when exporting?

    Thanks.

    Have a look at

Didn't check the web link in that post but hopefully it still works.

Why not TRY and sell it here and buy up the north. Remember the good exchange in the UK and cheaper cars.

    Its just another option.
    Good Luck:)

Yeah Scottie, that's a possibility too. I just wanted to see what my options were. It seems reasonably straight forward anyway.
