So guys i know this one is sort of random but seen as theres only one connacht player in the senior squad (biased!),thought i might have a crack at the churchill cup team.

    15. Hurley
    14.Johne Murphy
    13.Lewis
    12.Matthews
    11.Earls
    10. Sexton
9.O'Leary (Should really be on senior tour in place of Stringer)
    8.Ferris
    7.N.Best
    6.'Concrete' O'Connor!
    5.D.Ryan
    4.Casey (Capt)
    3.Ross
    2.Cronin
    1.Healy

    Thoughts???:D

    6. Ferris
    7. JOC
    8. Wilson

Not sure what capable centres we have (is Earls a centre?) and front row, we're strong enough with locks and backrowers.

Looks to be a brilliant XV I have to say.. (although I don't know who Matthews is). Will be expecting big things from the likes of Healy, Ryan, Ferris, O'Leary, Sexton and Earls! All show huge promise, hopefully will make names for themselves and make it into the senior squad for 2011

keith matthews plays center for connacht this year.a serious player.didnt look as good this year as connachts back line was a joke, but you could see glimpses of genius.look out for him!

Really excited to see how Healy, Ferris, Casey and Sexton get on in this, although the last 2 should be in the starting 22 for the NZ game imo.

Not the best 15 imo, not sure we'll learn a large amount from the rest of the team, barring the above, I wouldn't imagine there's too many future international regulars.

Cave, Earls, Healy are in there, the rest are bench warming at the provinces or stuck in the acadamies.

The standard of the CC has progressed quite a bit recently, which is evident in the squad we've taken.

We've got 3 potential Ireland out halves in Keatley, O'Connor and Sexton.

//Edit - Cave is with the 7s - may not be in CC squad

Seen very little of Matthews so I don't know about him but that is one mean looking bunch of forwards.

watched the canada vs scotland a match there the other day and it was incredibly poor rugby. AIL league Div 1 teams would have had a higher standard. Was realy s**t to watch. Turned it off before the end.

didn't get to watch the USA v England match. apparently england played some good stuff and put a big number up on the US

Ben Wiedemer who played second row with Old Belvedere last season is playing with USA in the Churchill Cup. Started against the Saxons.

I was wondering was he going to be playing alright. I missed that matched. He was my brothers 2nd row partner. Handy enough player

Just checked the Beeb there and he was indeed playing. He seemed like a nice enough guy, met him once or twice at training, think we tried to set him up with one of our girls too. He made a lucky escape.
