please please DO NOT buy the gimped version of rock band wii, it is neither wireless nor has DLC, it doesnt deserve the support. plus it wont be coming out in europe anytime soon, im pretty sure Microsoft has a 6month exclusive in Europe anyway

wait for guitar hero 4/rock band 2 if u really must play it on the wii, hopefully by then we'll have proper DLC

googling brought me up this....

Firstly, the May 23rd release date of Rock Band for Europe only applies to the Xbox 360, with the game being a timed exclusive for the console. PS2, PS3, and Wii owners have to make do with a rough release date of Summer 2008 instead.

Then, as usual with games, Europe gets hard done by when it comes to pricing. Rock Band, which retails at $169 for the game, a guitar, a microphone and drums, is set to cost £180 or the equivalent in Euros across Europe. In other words, double the cost!

in other words....dont bother buying Rock Band IMO especially not on the gimped Wii version, which has no dlc nor is it wireless(although it does have crappy track packs which you have to buy separately http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-z3-49-en-70-2raj.html ). its only coming out this month in the US on the wii, so it'll be awhile to come over to europe, they say summer 2008, but i bet it'll be more likely xmas 2008, if we're lucky.

Okay, but when you buy the guitar hero package can you get the drumset instead of the guitar. I probably should have pointed out that I'm looking to play the drums and not the guitar on these things...

Just wikipedia'd it, the tracks doesn't seem to be as impressive as the Rockband one...I really want to learn The Who's Won't Get Fooled Again on it. It's too much effort trying to figure it out on a real drumkit...
