First Active Current Account

    I see from their website that they are now offering a Current Account. I already have a CA with BOI and I have a savings account with First Active, but I'd consider moving my current account there if it was any use. Anyone got info?

    If their online facility for Current Accounts as as bad as their deposit accounts I wouldnt touch it with a bargepole

    Tried to get money out of my Deposit Account the other day - to do it online I had to apply for an account "upgrade" - had to wait a week for a code, then wasnt able to set up my external account as a new payee - The site is generally very slow and often times-out, sometimes it just doesnt work! Had to ring their helpline in the end and give them my pin etc. They set up the payee for me and I made the transfer. Had to wait 3 days for the money - with Rabo you get it overnight! (dont work for them)

    I have an esaver with first active. Always takes one day for me to transfer money both to and from the account (to my current account which i have with PTSB). I've never had a problem online to be honest. The only pain was having to ring to set up an extrenal account to transfer money to but even that only took about 20 mins
