Vundo virus and how to get rid of it?

    Hey,

    So I have the vundo virus and i can't seem to get rid of it! I have AVG antivirus and it detects the virus alright and picks up about 30 threats or so but the test never finishes and always ends up with the program not responding. One day i think it did finish but then the next time it did the test it still found all the threats again so it didn't get rid of them.
    I also have Aware 2008, SpyDoctor and Registry Mechanic none of which have helped sort the problem.

    Can anyone offer any advice or has anyone had the same problem?
