Hi,

What i'm looking to do is I want to be able to send out a big group text (over 1000 ppl) maybe only once a year but to get the name of the sender to appear even if the receiver of the message doesn't have the number in their phone.

eg. many night clubs do a similar thing when they are advertising an event etc. where they send out text message's to eveyone in their database and when you receive it the nightclub name comes up.

I want to be able to do something similar but for me it will be used for a dentist's office.

How do I go about doing this?

We have something similar in work. We use webtext.com for it. The sender shows up as a predeined name rather than a phone number and you can create several distribution lists / templates as required.
