I have a SE K530i and, like most new Sony Ericssons, it has a feature whereby you can inserted little animations into text messages.

Does anyone know where I can download more of these little fellas? I've done a fair old search on the net but can't find any anywhere.

I'm not too sure if you can, the animations generally will only work on other sony ericssons, as all they are on most other phones are things like : )

Cheers for getting back to me but no, there are two types of 'smileys' on Sony Ericsson. First there's the type that you talk about which are just fancier versions of :-) and ;-) and so on and yes, they do just appear as normal smileys on non-SE handsets. The second type though is a more dynamic smiley. They're found in a seperate animations folder within the messaging application. These little fellas actually move - they wave, wink, cry and so on.

It's these second ones I'm looking for.

You cant find them anywhere, unless you want to change them using XS++

Anyway the person that your sending the animation to would also have to have the same animation on their phone.

XS++ is an application that allows you to change the filesystem on a Sony Ericsson phone i.e add new files onto the phones filesystem
