CorelDraw save problem

I'm having a problem with saving files on my new laptop when using CorelDraw. When I try to save, the save box half appears on the screen as if it's trying to save the file to the corel folder but the program hangs then and shuts down after not responding for a few seconds. i've tried re-installing but no joy. Thank you.
