Hi everyone. Posting on behalf of a nephew here. A few quick ledger questions

    1) Does it matter if dates are not in chronological order? (e.g 13/5 before 2/5)
    2) For each part, A B and C, do you have to show every entry separately. For example, if you have to enter something from the General Journal to the Cash Book, do I make a separate Cash Book or do I throw it in with the rest of the Analysed Cash Book?

    Thanks in advance!

No they do not have to be in chrono. order...once they are there the numbers will still add up :)

Yes , in a way. But use the same ruled out ledger, but at the bottom with accurate numbering etc

A general tip I would give is that alot of the stuff thought by some teachers is totally unessecary for accounting in JC Business- Once the figures are there and the methods are right the marks are going.

Re 1 , yes the order is important as it makes it easier to x ref the corresponding entries.
It is not just about the numbers adding up
