cancellation holidays....

hey all, happy summer

im dying to go on holidays in august but as im a college student my budget isnt the great!!!!! like the prices for a week somewhere hot is abour €600!!!!
i really want to book a last minute deal or a cancellation holiday! has anyone booked a candellation holiday before? if so do you go to a travel agents or what! or the net??

What's a cancellation holiday? Like where you hope that a passanger on an over-booked plane doesn't turn up? Can't see how it would be cheaper though....

Where would you like to go (hot? cold?) for how long and with what budget?

Why not book flights to somewhere and stay in a hostel?

what kind of budget do you have? forget travel agents, they're rip off merchants. you will get far better deals on the net if you shop around some of the budget airlines like ryanair ( yeah i know they're not great but hey they're cheap!) do pretty cheap flights....if you dont have anywhere in mind as a destination pick the cheapest then look for hotels/hostels in that area. Like I said, some great deals to be found on the net

a cancellation hol is where if people have booked a holiday and end up not being able to go for some reason or another the holiday will come available at a very nice cheap price as it will be perhaps a last min cancellation..

ya i will spend a bit of time later looking round the net.

my budget is maybe €450 max...

yeah,got 2 weeks in turkey a few years back for 200 euro each,just booked it the day b4 it started

that was very good value. did you book that on the net or with a travel agency?

just booked a week in turkey for next week june 15-22 for 250 euro each. flights, transfers and hotel suite. booked with budget. id say wait until a week before you go and see whats available. Choose the cheapest one then. Think my holiday went down alot when it came into the last week before departure date.
