To be honest whenever I read anything she wrote or saw her on tv I thought she came across as very unlikeable and egotistical. More famous for her affair than her talent, sort of a forerunner to Colleen Mcwhateverhernameis and Dannielle whatsherface.:)

i think the general opinion is that she never came across as a nice person. her late late show interview was just cringeworthy - although i'm sure she did it because she thought it would give her good publicity.

still no-one would wish a 'long dying' on anyone, especially not someone who was just annoying and not much more than that.

regarding her family - well she did cheat on her husband for 25 years and then told the world about it. I can't imagine she was the greatest family person

Yeah but make these assertions in a few months. Not the day the poor woman has died. It does not seem right to treat recently deceased this way. Whether you believe in religion or not - or have morals - it is not a decent thing to do. It says more about the poster's then it does about her.

I would imagine it has to do with respect. Whether we liked Terry Keane or not, out of respect one should withold assertions for now. That's my opinion and their were a few disagreeing with me in the pub lastnight but sure ce la vie!
