Ample Free ...?

To be blatantly honest I'm only posting this to see how to imbed a youtube video:p, but I figured I'd put up something interesting(IMO anyway?)

Heard this song on the radio a few days ago and after a bit of digging around online I've found some more songs and so far I like what I'm hearing.
Her names Lykke Li, and she's from Stockholm, a little quirky but good!

Her album got a bit of a bashing yesterday (May 31st) on Phantom Fm. Said there was really only a couple of decent songs on it and the rest is pretentious crap.
Heard one of her songs a couple of months back and liked it

I like what I've heard so far so gonna pick up today, got 5 stars in the ticket. Going to the sugar club gig on Thursday, should be great live from stuff I've seen on youtube. Anyone know what her touring line up is?

Ok, bit of a bump but just got back from a Lykke Li gig and searched for her on here. Surprised that there was only one thread about her.

Gig was really good and don't understand the pretentiousness that some claim to have heard about some of her songs. She has more than a couple of good songs and her stage presence was really good tonight. And the 2 guys that played with her were pretty cool too. Nice set and the crowd enjoyed it overall.
And she played a couple of new songs tonight that were just as good as her previous stuff so hopefully more good things to come.

Notice she's been getting more airtime lately too, especially from Donal Dineen. Would recommend picking up her album.

I've liked the couple of tracks I've heard, though I can see the point about it all being a bit pretentious, she does have that "so cool it hurts" air about her

Yeah, she does indeed. I was at the gig (did a little review in my blog) and that attitude (or the sense of it, at least) wasn't merely projected by herself and the band, there were many people amongst the audience who similarly considered themselves 'too cool'.

Mmm. Never seen her live. not sure if I'll bother. I prefer the early stuff like.

Albums very mediocre imo.

She has a very beautiful voice, but if you listen to her to much she sounds like a moany b.itch after a while.

Her version of knocked up is great!
