Iv been a great fan of Britain's Got Talent. Its much better then other similar shows or stuff like X Factor. I was pretty supprised to see the runners up but the winner well deserved it. Great act and he tried his best to get back. Fair play to him.

(Why isnt there a thread on this anyway?)

George was good - there were some really good acts in the final! What is the name of the song that Escala played?

Certainly can dance. Fair play to him.

Why bother posting on a thread if you have no interest and all you can say it is crap??

Well its BRITAINS got talent, so irish people would be like "Meh" (If it was Irelands got talent we would have been glued to it), i didnt watch it until thursday where i was blown away by george- Im thrilled he won , my fella was givn out i was screamin so much at it 2 night, Signature didnt deserve to come 2nd, Escala were miles better than them (And as my fella pointed out they were hot lol)

Usually I couldnt care less about talent shows, but that kid really is something else and he obviously worked really hard to achieve what he did.

If it was Irelands got talent we would have been glued to it

If it was Ireland's Got Talent we'd have a mediocre singer, loads of Irish dancing, some kid performing rubbish magic tricks, and Brendan Kilkenny!

And Linda Martin would have been judging.

And it would have looked far less professional than Britain's Got Talent. And whoever won would fall back into obscurity after a week.

Which is why we don't have Ireland's Got Talent.

I was delighted for George. He really deserved it.

It was also great to see the other boy, Andrew, gain a huge amount of confidence. He looked so happy when he performed.

I thought the dog was good too but if he'd won I would have been very angry!

Overall I enjoyed the series. It's far better than America's Got Talent. Apart from a bit of dodgy camerawork (as mentioned in another thread) it was a very professional production.

Oh, also Piers Morgan is an utter tool and Amanda Holden nearly had a wardrobe malfunction on the way down the stairs in her hideous dress with a way-too-high slit in it! (All her dresses were awful.)

I also agree with that comment. No one cares about some TV3/ITV1 simulcast.

can the break dancing kid come up with his own act and not rip off an ad?

In that case every singer in the competition should come up with their own song as well, and not just rip off some big hit.

i really liked the show , only started watching it towards the end

while george was an amasing dancer , the winner for me was farrah smith

never heard such a voice in all my life , that shes only 12 is truly astonishing

    Seriously.

But we will have it...of that I have no doubt.
...and it will be all that you mentioned and so much more.

Usually I can't stand this type of reality TV/txt voting, but I have to be honest and say that whilst I didn't see the final I did catch some of the acts over the last series and it wasn't bad...for one thing, most of the acts actually had some talent, not the usual piss poor "I like to think I can sing" crowd...

Loved the show and it was great family entertainment.

Was fantastic for george to win and also loved the michael jackson guy - nothing funnier than a big guy dancing really well and the music was excellent also.

Would gladly watch this every week than big brother type shows.

have to say the kid doing it live on the stage looked a lot better, glad to see him win it

I think Signature should of won. Their dancing was hilarious.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,394 ✭✭✭Transform

escala were good but nothing original as Bond have been doing it for ages now i.e. hot ladies playing their instruments in a classic/modern theme

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,165 ✭✭✭DEmeant0r

I have to say Simon Cowell has been the only reasonable/consistant judge on the panel thus far, what's up with Amanda and Piers giving the thumbs up to some god awful performances? (Like that star wars keyboard player)

I didn't get to see the Semis or Finals but I'm glad George won, he's got bags loads of talent! And Signature are really funny! :D
