dab trial monaghan

    hi i have posted on here before and i am receiving the dtt trial from clermont with my freeview receiver and no amplification so i was thinking if i mounted an external antenna for dab would i receive the irish dab stations, which i have more interest in i have a halo loop antenna which i was goin to mount vertically would this work or would a beam be required

    I don't think you'll pick up the RTE DAB trial in Monaghan (town?) Might get the NI Mux on slightly higher ground. You can pick up the RTE DAB trial in Carrickmacross (on higher ground) on a portable radio.

    think ill give it a go i can pick up the ni muxs on an indoor 1 foot long tail antenna, i have just finished modifying it so i can connect an external antenna ill try, and post results
