Moving music purchased from the ipod touch

Can anyone tell me how I can move music I've bought through itunes on the ipod touch? I want to put the music onto my shuffle for jogging but I cant seem to move the music from the ipod touch list into my itunes library on the pc. I bought the music so surely I should be able to move it to my pc!?

in itunes, when ipod is connected, go to "file" > "Transfer purchases from ipod"
