My poor washing machine has just died!!
Ten years of constant and dutiful service with no holidays or bank holidays off!!! and even enduring moving to three homes over its life time.
So, if anyone here could recommend a good reliable replacement, I would be very grateful.. I know there are many and varied options available and I don't want to get something that will fall appart after a couple of years.
By the way, the machine I have (sorry HAD):( was a whirlpool. R.I.P. 1998-2008.

A sad day. I would go for a top brand, a washing machine is not to be taken lightly.

A Zanussi has been a loyal servant to me for donkeys years.

    btw how did it die?

    Hi,
It faithfully completed a difficult wash, with no complaints. I could sense that something was amiss when it let out a very silent sigh as the wash finished!! It clicked to allow me open the door as it always did. Little did I know that the life had just drained from my faithful friend. I tried to revive it, but alas my companion is no more..............

Its just f****d I guess. But thank you for your concern!!!!! btw picking up a Zanussi in half an hour.
