Hi, I have a very disgruntled 12 year old. I bought him GTA4 yesterday, only to discover that his PS3 hasn't been playing games for a couple of days now.

We tried everything we could think of. Yes, software is current, so as a last resort, we restored the PS3 to factory settings overnight, it took about 3hrs 30mins. Put in PS3 & PS2 games - no joy. :(

All we have to prove it is aware there is a game installed is the wavy circle in the top right hand corner of the screen. The unit is just 6 months old, now I'll probably spend the day looking for the poxy receipt, if only Santa could remember where he left it!!!

I tried doing searches on this topic here, but again, no joy. Any help with this one guys will really be appreciated. ;)

    Regards,
    BROS

I hope he doesn't blame videogames if the kid ever goes on a rampage ;)

All of the 18 rated games available on the market, GTA4 is definately not one for kids.
