Hi All, I have windows vista SP1, I've just noticed an icon in my computer shows a floppy drive symbol, even though I don't have a foppy drive! Very strange. I don't know how long its been there, any thoughts anyone.

yeah i noticed that too. It's probably a work around to some part of windows that gives problems if it can't find a floppy drive. Just ignore it. It won't let you copy files to it or anything

I had the phantom floppy drive in XP too until I disabled the floppy drive controller in the BIOS. ("onboard FDC controller" as far as I can remember)
So yeah give it a shot.
